Clipper a privately owned ferry company operates a daily high speed passenger only service from downtown Seattle to Victoria BC on Vancouver Island, and a seasonal (May - September) ferry service Seattle to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island.

The ferry service from downtown Seattle to the communities of Bainbridge, Bremerton & Vashon is operated year-round by Washington State Ferries

The docks for the Seattle ferry to Victoria, Seattle ferry to Friday Harbor and the State ferries to Vashon, Bremerton & Bainbridge are located just below Pike Place Market on Alaskan Way.

A variety of restaurants, great shops and the wonderful Seattle Aquarium can are located between the Washington State Ferry terminal and the Clipper ferry terminal.
